The five-stage path

The 2026 catalogue describes a five-stage workflow. The exact timing, quotation and acceptance criteria remain project-specific.

Start an RFQ
  1. Design reviewRead the drawing, intended use and interfaces. Feedback can cover structure, function, pull direction, opening and closing, and spring behaviour.
  2. SamplingUse a suitable sample route to inspect appearance, dimensions and fit before the production direction is fixed.
  3. Tooling & trialMove the approved geometry into tooling and trial work, with attention to repeatability and the agreed finish path.
  4. Finish approvalReview plating colour, surface appearance and any custom colour direction against a physical reference.
  5. Production & assemblyPrepare the confirmed component and any required assembly steps for the order program.

Good hardware conversations are specific.

Before production, agree what the part must do and how it will be checked. This keeps a finish discussion from hiding a structural requirement, and keeps a drawing review connected to the end product.
